Chief Spotted Elk - Lying Dead in the Snow at Wounded Knee

This is from a limited edition of prints (50 per painting) from JB Vallely's 2026 From Wounded Knee to Gaza series. Each print is on high-quality art paper and is signed, captioned and numbered by the artist.  Uŋpȟáŋ Glešká, or Spotted Elk (1826?-1809) was a chief of the Miniconjou Lakota, killed in the 1890 Wounded Knee massacre. Vallely's painting is based on one of the photographs taken a few days later, when the US authorities returned to tidy up the killing fields.

Unframed prints can be collected in Armagh, delivered free within a 15-mile radius, or posted in strong cardboard tubes. Framed prints (allow 3 weeks for framing) are for collection or free delivery within 15 miles.
